This will teach me not to pick obscure celebrities
Hi. Contrary to popular belief, I am not Marc Edward Heuck, the movie geek from my favorite game show BEAT THE GEEKS. I'm just a livejournal celebrity squatter. Just like people who want to pretend that they're Kirsten Dunst or Anna Paquin or Britney Spears, I like to pretend that I'm him. That's what the link at the bottom of the page explains. He knows a lot of stuff that most of the time nobody would care about, and then throws it back around with a lot of attitude. I think that's cool.
So just like everyone else trying to be their idol, I took what I've been able to glean from the web and the press about Marc, and try to act it out here. Up to now, it's mostly been with my friends, that's why my journal has been empty. But then I found out that a lot of the other LJ fans of the show, the ones who used to post at moviegeeked
, stopped posting because they thought Marc might actually be reading their stuff.
Okay, reality check here. Think about it. Marc is on TV. He's a national celebrity. When would he have time to be screwing around LJ reading a bunch of stuff by people he doesn't know? And why would he leave himself wide open like that, where anyone can find him? You've seen some of the stuff people have written about him, it can get borderline scary. It would be stupid for anyone that high profile to leave themself that wide open.
Look, all of us LJ wannabes have had a nice, peaceful fun time living in the shoes of people we adore. It's kind of a buzzkill to have to remind people that it's not for real. So now that you know it's not him, lemme go back to my pretending. And feel free to chat honestly about the new season. I think there's a lot to talk about
